Begum Yetis

Begum Yetis is a London based photographer who was born and raised in Istanbul, where she also completed her BA in Photography Department at Istanbul Bilgi University. Begum’s work develops around the representations of identity, and takes inspiration from a wide range of subcultures. Her subjects are diverse in age, race and gender, and reflects a strong feeling of pride and power.
Her self-published artist books such as ''Bare With Me'', is in the collection of libraries in Printed Matter NYC, Reminders Photography Stronghold in Tokyo and Tenderbooks, London.

Begum has worked with brands such as Dilara Fındıkoğlu, LN-CC, Nike and Burberry and contributed to a series of publications including AnOther Magazine, GQ and Dry Clean Only Magazine.
